iWorld and Cellnet join forces as Apple announce the new Gen iPod Nano and Touch
iWorld has appointed technology reseller Cellnet as their exclusive distributor

iWorld has appointed technology reseller Cellnet as their exclusive distributor in New Zealand. The partnership will see Cellnet as sole supplier of iWorld’s suite of products to the New Zealand reseller market across the telco and retail segments.
iWorld is a leading supplier of Digital Lifestyle Products in Australia and holds the exclusive distribution rights for the iLuv brand as well as the Speck, Dexim, 4Mac, Livespeakr, JWIN, Maclove, Xtand, Maclove and Riot Outfitters brands.
Chad DeClase, Director of iWorld Australia, said that iWorld is already a trusted quality distributor in Australia and is now partnering with Cellnet to grow the New Zealand market as well. “Our success is based on quality customer support and solid relationships forged with major customers, high profile quality manufacturers, strong financial positioning and most of all a solid reputation as a trusted supplier of products”.
“Cellnet’s strong distribution reach and similarities to iWorld in these regards was a key driver behind the partnership. Cellnet is a value-added distributor with a wide sales presence across New Zealand, which was important to us. Cellnet are experts in distribution, and so this association allows us to place an increased focus on the new developments of emerging products and new technology, imperative in the fast-moving retail environment,” he said.
Under the agreement, Cellnet will have access to the full iWorld portfolio of brands.
Cellnet CEO, Stuart Smith, said: “The iWorld brand portfolio aligns perfectly across our offering to both our telco and retail reseller customer base in New Zealand and the partnership provides us with an opportunity to continue to expand our offering in these channels. The agreement is timely given the announcement of the new 5th Generation iPod Nano and 3rd Generation iPod Touch today. We are forecasting iWorld’s Apple-focused brands iLuv, Dexim and 4Mac to perform particularly well leading up to Christmas. ”
In regards to the new range, DeClase commented “For the new iPod Nano and iPod Touch range we really wanted to be different and think outside the square. We will still continue to do our traditional range of Silicon Skins and Leather products, but with this launch we really wanted to pimp it up! In conjunction with iLuv we have started to introduce new materials like TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane). Two new designs that will make a big impact for this launch is the new ‘The World Tour’ cases that have major city landmarks from London, New York, Paris and Sydney and this range will cover both the iPod Nano 5th Gen as well as the iPod Touch 3rd Gen series. The second case is the iPod Touch gaming case ‘Game On’ with specially designed silicon gaming grip to enhance the gaming experience.”
